What is a digital voucher?

The '22 digital voucher is a credit in the Financial Administration's information system that can be redeemed for the purchase of computer equipment. You do not need to apply for it and you do not receive it in physical form. The purpose of the digital voucher is to promote digital inclusion.

You are entitled to the digital voucher ’22 if you had a permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia on 12 March 2022 and were at that time:

 

compulsory school child enrolled in 7th, 8th or 9th grade,

high school student

a college student according to the regulations on higher professional education,

a student of a study program of the first, second or third level according to the regulations on higher education or

aged 55 or over and will attend digital literacy education subsidized under the Digital Inclusion Promotion Act.

You are also entitled to the '22 digital voucher if you meet the above conditions and study abroad. In this case, you must obtain recognition from the competent authority of the status of the beneficiary of the digital voucher ’22. To recognize the status, you must fill out and submit an application for recognition of the status of the beneficiary of the digital voucher '22 - students abroad (for electronic submission, the form must be sent in scanned form to gp.sdp@gov.si or submitted to the eGovernment portal, where the application will be available no later than 15 June 2022). The application will be decided by the body responsible for the information society. If the request for recognition of the status of the '22 digital voucher is granted, it will inform you and forward your data to the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, which will enter it in the digital voucher register for the purposes of registering the '22 digital voucher. You will be able to redeem the '22 digital voucher from enrollment in this record.

 

What can you use a digital voucher for?

Beneficiaries will be able to use Digital Vouchers ’22 from 15 June to 30 November 2022.

 

The '22 digital voucher can be redeemed exclusively for the purchase of new, refurbished or used computer equipment:

 

laptop, tablet or desktop computer

laptop docking stations

computer screen,

keyboards and mice

digital paper,

digital pen,

smart card reader,

webcams

headphones with a microphone

multifunction device, scanner, printer,

3D printer,

external storage units,

special computer equipment for the digital inclusion of people with disabilities and

programming learning kit (including card computer and software for development environments).

Brothers, sisters, half-brothers and half-sisters, you can combine the '22 digital voucher with a government-determined '22 digital voucher merger statement and use the vouchers for joint purchase.

 

During its validity period, you will be able to use the digital voucher in several smaller amounts and at various computer equipment providers. You will be able to redeem it in person at the provider's business premises or by purchasing online on the basis of a digital voucher redemption statement. The statement contains the following personal data: name and surname, EMŠO and tax number.

 

If the voucher is redeemed by online purchase, an electronically signed statement or a scanned handwritten statement will be sent to the goods provider.

 

Information on the available amount for the beneficiary will be evident from the information system of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. You will have an insight into it through the eDavki application.

 

If the voucher will be redeemed by a personal purchase at the branch, a self-signed statement must be submitted and an identity document must be presented at the branch.

 

If '22 combined digital vouchers are redeemed, a '22 digital voucher merger statement is also required for redemption.
